The Dogwood is the North Carolina state flower. Each spring, its beautiful blooms dot the landscape and signify new beginnings - a current metaphor for the hope and help that is urgently needed in wake of the recent disaster following Hurricane Helene.

In efforts to raise funds for the people both young and old enduring this crisis in the Asheville area and beyond, I have created the “Blooms of Hope” print that is now available for purchase on my website. All proceeds apart from print/shipping materials and tax costs will be directly donated to those in need.

Amy Romfo of The Coastal Oak inspired this project, and all donations will go to First Baptist Church of Swannanoa and Convoy of Hope to ensure that funds are dispersed from locals on the ground to those who need them most. She has personal friends and family associated with the church and community that will be able to get resources into the hands that desperately need them. Thank you so much for your help. Together, I pray we make a big difference in the lives of those who are having to walk through this unprecedented situation.
